    Position Summary

    This role acts as a key contributor in the analysis required to ensure compliance of company compensation and benefit programs and alignment to Total Rewards initiatives and company strategy.   This role will provide analysis, and solutions to business problems related to Total Rewards. The role will be a member of the Total Rewards team in driving change based on analysis of current processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborates with the compensation manager on a variety of projects, including, analysis, structure and implementation of new programs, including incentive pay programs and assists with various compensation related issues.
    • Collaborates with the Director of Total Rewards on a variety of projects related to employee benefits, including annual enrollment, ACA compliance and 1095C filing, integrity of carrier files.
    • Administers base compensation programs, and supports the Compensation Manager in the annual merit process.
    • Works with HRIC staff to ensure that the Lawson meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, and pay for performance programs, etc.
    • Manages projects such as survey participation for both compensation and benefits.
    • Provides cost benefit analysis as needed to support changes related to compensation and benefits.
    • Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure legal compliance and reporting obligations consistent with regulatory requirements for both compensation and benefits. (FLSA, ACA filings, State mandates, annual plan notices distributions).
    • Coordinates with Human Resource Business Partners to educate managers.
    • Participates in job analysis, documentation and evaluation as needed and will be subject matter expert in the development of Job descriptions.
    • Integral support of benefits function during and leading up to annual renewals and annual enrollment.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee benefits information through periodic audits and provide recommendations for streamlining processes and procedures.
    • Provide back up to Benefits Analyst responsible for benefits billing and budget analysis.
    • Assist Benefits Analysts with compliance and reporting obligations including but not limited to ACA filings, annual plan notice distributions, non-discrimination testing, etc.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
    • Constant interaction with executive management, managers, employees, payroll personnel, insurers
    • Strong PC skills, to include the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good organization abilities
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze and interpret Plan document provisions and Federal regulations and apply them to coverage questions and issues
    • Ability to adapt to new procedures and changes in regulations
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask as well as adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Able to work independently, think and plan ahead and bring issues to attention of management.
