    Position Summary

    Using strong project management techniques the RFP Developer, under minimal supervision, independently manages simple to moderately complex RFP projects in support of corporate revenue goals. The RFP Developer is responsible for directing the strategic positioning of RFP responses by actively leading cross-functional project teams to ensure that the expectations of potential and existing clients are met or exceeded in a professional, timely and high-quality fashion; and that products presented are innovative and competitive in the marketplace.


    • Coordinate and complete concurrent RFP projects accurately and within established timeframes.
    • Identify and engage cross-functional project team members to complete project requirements
    • Coordinate and assign questions to Sales, SMEs, business units, and/or partners.
    • In conjunction with the project team develop, facilitate, and ensure the adoption of product solutions and responses that will satisfy potential clients.
    • Help provide business areas with understanding of areas other than their own as related to Response requirements and proposed solution.
    • Utilize the RFP knowledgebase (primary source) and other current documents or papers to write relevant, strategic, concise, and complete responses to RFP questions. 
    • Utilize advanced writing skills and creativity to customize responses to address specific questions with the understanding that our primary source of content is the RFP knowledgebase. 
    • Perform quality and compliance checks throughout the process to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy of Response message. 
    • Continually evaluates accuracy of database content and coordinates new content capture with cross-functional business units and subject matter experts. Send new and updated information to the knowledge management resource for the knowledgebase. 
    • Act as a central coordination contact for all project team members during all phases of the project
    • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with members of the RFP team, selling team, business units, and subject matter experts
    • Manage and follow the department SOP to:
      • establish periodic status meetings with team or specific team members
      • ensure required information being provided by SMEs/partners is requested appropriately and is submitted on time
      • engage and effectively manage subject matter expert participation/information delivery
      • ensure financial and contractual information is properly reviewed and approved/edited
    • Participate in special projects and complete other duties as assigned. 


    • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
    • A bachelor’s in business administration, journalism, communications preferred
