    Position Summary

    Supports employee training and talent management efforts by identifying, developing and delivering learning courses for Crawford Educational Services. Coordinates planning, development, implementation and marketing of continuing education program

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Partners with service lines Heads to identify specific needs for new courses, recommends appropriate learning technologies/approaches.
    • Designs management and leadership curriculum for managers and individual contributors
    • Provides classroom, virtual and on-the job training delivery and on-the-job coaching support, as needed
    • Leads and supports a variety of talent management initiatives and OE projects such as talent analytics, talent review, leadership assessments, performance management, career paths and learning management systems
    • Stays up-to-date on various learning methods, costs, applications, advantages and disadvantages in order to select optimum methods for specific courses.
    • Stays abreast of marketplace trends in talent management and training and development.
    • Formulates marketing plan for continuing education courses--identifies audience and media for marketing.

     

    Requirements

     

    • Requires a bachelor's degree. Degrees in Organization Psychology or Org design preferred.
    • 7-10 years of previous training and course development experience required.
    • Prefer current license and certification for field.
    • Good understanding of insurance terminology, concepts and practices.
    • Understanding of continuing education needs of Crawford field professionals.
    • Very strong verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Collaborates effectively with others on the team
    • Motivated to take new projects and exhibits ability to learn and adapt to new things quickly
    • Excellent PC skills--regular office software applications as well as conferencing and course building software.
