    Position Summary



    Grows business relationships from new and existing clients within the multinational risk management community





    • Identifies, manages and secures new business and growth opportunities in the multinational insurance market environment.
    • Applies extensive product and market knowledge to sell to a major, complex strategic/sophisticated account.
    • Maximizes sales to top tier accounts by implementing advanced business planning, forecasting, analytical and category management expertise.
    • Manages and develops client relationships to include ongoing maintenance of existing client relationships and development of new client opportunities
    • Takes a consultative approach to understand client needs
    • Works with the global markets team, Crawford finance, legal and operations as appropriate to build robust solutions to meet client needs.
    • Ensures awareness and compliance with all corporate governance requirements as well as general company policies and procedures across the USA and globally as required
    • Keep abreast of industry trends that may impact the business/ revenue objectives of the company
    • Establishes and maintains excellent customer relationships at all levels
    • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.






    • Bachelors’ degree
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales/business development to senior level executives
    • Proven experience in insurance claims industry
    • Direct experience in selling situations involving negotiation, either direct sales or other sales-like functions
    • Solid understanding of the international insurance market and global claims programs
    • Ability to interpret and analyze financial management reports
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships within own team and across teams breaking down silos.
    • Ability to work at senior levels within the company and the client
    • Demonstrating high level of integrity, client focus, professionalism, teamwork and proactive management.
