This position is directly responsible for one or more bank accounts and for coordinating the daily cash posting processes related to the corresponding invoicing system.
Pulls daily cash reports and banking statements as needed to prepare daily balancing and monthly balancing.
Identifies incoming cash receipts and electronic payments.
Posts payments, prepares related uploads, and journal entries as needed.
Processes inter-company transfers related to misrouted cash receipts.
Identifies and report pre-fund/ large dollar check items.
Assists branches and clients with questions relating to cash receipts, collections, and A/R.
Researches and resolves errors related to over payments, duplicate payments, or general unidentified cash receipts.
Post payments, issue refunds, or request cash transfers as needed to resolve items listed above.
Contact clients as needed to obtain additional remittance information.
Assists supervisors and manager to answer questions; acting as liaison between the department and internal/external clients.
Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
