Position Summary

 

Provides oversight and coordination of research, analysis, and development for implementation of new products, services for clients and new reporting developments. Orchestrates effectively to integrate on new products and client services.  Effectively manages projects to ensure on time completion and that they remain within scope.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Organizes and provides status updates while keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals.
  • Meets budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Acts as liaison between internal stakeholders and client, to ensure open communication, appropriate identification of business needs, and alignment on deliverables.
  • Analyzes and benchmarks new product performance. Creates process maps in order to replicate successful implementations.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of processes including but not limited to: workflow diagrams, program functions and features, options or various methodologies, and key successes and failures.
  • Driver to design, implement, while providing support to client and internal departments from sale to product implementation.
  • Responsible for project planning, identification, and tracking of risks and issues.
  • Ensures a smooth transition to operations and Sales Team upon implementation.
  • Translates clients’ needs into deliverables.
  • Implement innovative processes or changes that support the goals of the department.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct

 

Requirements

 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in project management.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field of study.
  • Exceptional understanding of general product/program procedures and processes.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and writing skills. Ability to communicate to various levels within an organization.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work well independently.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint); familiarity with project software such as Oracle Project
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of insurance or financial industry.
  • Ability to learn/understand business processes and recognize issues relating to ongoing projects.
  • Good interpersonal skills
