Position Summary

 

 

Under general direction of the Director of Quality Assurance, writes documentation, conducts audits and supports all domestic quality projects and initiatives. Works independently and as part of a team to analyze, report, and deliver data regarding various aspects of quality assurance.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of quality programs and projects.
  • Communicates the corporate quality message to stakeholders.
  • Designs and conducts quality audits; determines quality score.
  • Assists in the training of quality assurance auditors when necessary.
  • Trains managers, supervisors, and staff in quality programs and corrective actions.
  • Assists development and maintenance of documents and tools to complement quality programs on all domestic operations.
  • Writes audit reports and coordinates district level corrective actions.
  • Assists Regional Managers with self-audit and inspection processes.
  • Analyzes, reports, and delivers quality information and the results of quality programs and projects.
  • Polls, surveys, and gathers customer and employee satisfaction information.
  • Supports quality awards programs.
  • Remediates quality problems under the auspices of national, regional or local initiatives.
  • Supports the service delivery, complaint resolution, sales, product development and client retention processes.
  • Hosts or supports community forums.
  • Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
  • Participates in calibration exercises with team members.
  • Assists in formulating and coordinating branch level quality processes.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience in written and oral communications.
  • 3-5 years' experience within the claims adjusting industry.
  • Minimum of five years' experience auditing and analyzing, or adjusting claims.
  • Excellent process and technical skills.
  • Excellent analysis, listening, negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Good public speaking, training and group facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of branch and regional claims operations.
  • Ability to work productively both independently or as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Client interaction or account administration experience.
