Position Summary

The Quality Review Team Manager serves as a process and technical lead for Commercial Property Quality Review and Premier Property brand team members, ensuring that the department provides clients with consistent, timely, and high quality property work product that meets Crawford, industry, and client specific standards. 

Responsibilities

  • Manages personnel including performance appraisals and personnel issues. Provides counseling, coaching, staff development, positive reinforcement and training. This includes coordination of and conducting individual and team meetings to discuss and resolve operational, company, and personnel issues consistently and efficiently.
  • Monitors staff to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Monitors team’s assigned work to ensure balanced workload, production, and quality standards are met.
  • Handles assigned caseload as member of Premier Property Solution team.
  • Conducts quality review of highly complex commercial work product.
  • Maintains product quality through compliance with service standards.
  • Works closely with Clients to ensure operational and technical compliance.
  • Develops and implements operational strategies to increase commercial claim market share.
  • Explores technical and professional innovations within the marketplace to improve processes and product.
  • Resolves internal and external client issues.
  • Serves as subject matter expert of Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, Aurora, client estimating guidelines, and other property applications.
  • Works to enhance or design applications as needed for improving processes.
  • Maintains overall knowledge of centralized Quality Review model.
  • Conducts audits of department work product.
  • Communicates necessary information to employees on a timely basis.
  • Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in related work experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory related position and a minimum of five years commercial property adjusting background or related experience.
  • Prior experience with complex commercial structure and system claims, including mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, elevators, etc.)
  • Knowledge of large and complex commercial claims, including multi-family, manufacturing, retail, and high end residential claims.
  • Highly proficient and advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills. 
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise or lead employees.
  • Strong negotiation techniques and use of persuasion.
  • Ability to deal with difficult issues under pressure, and provide necessary communication to staff, clients and/or management
