Position Summary



Provide a wide variety of compliance, administrative, and general office support for the Ethics and Compliance department. Responsible for corporate licensing, employee licensing, and communication with regulatory agencies.  Prepares reports and correspondence, requiring knowledge of licensing protocols





  • Responsible for maintaining third party administrator and corporate adjuster licenses for three business entities.
  • Responsible for applying for new corporate licenses as needed.
  • Responsible for notifying regulatory agencies of changes in officers, directors and corporate contact information.  This includes at times collecting personal information for new officers and directors to submit to states.
  • Responsible for notifying regulatory agencies when an administrative penalty is issued against the company(ies).
  • Complete check requests for license fees, administrative penalties, and vendor payments.
  • Responds, when appropriate, to verbal and written requests for information from employees, management personnel, and defense attorneys, federal and state agencies concerning licensing, policies and procedures, or applications, action needed/case activity status, coordination of schedules for conferences.
  • Receives, processes, and maintains licensing information on corporate employees, as directed.
  • Prepares, files and follows up on license applications or renewals for corporate employees.
  • Composes and responds to correspondence within jurisdiction of authority.
  • Maintains filing systems; classifies sorts, and files correspondence, records, pleadings and other documents.
  • Processes and pays invoices.
  • Maintains project files and keeps all matters updated and current.
  • Generates various reports for audits and/or internal meetings, correspondence, documents and/or presentations; creates charts, graphs, tables, and text slides; responsible for formatting consistency and accuracy on time-sensitive, high-profile documents.
  • Provides specific support as determined by the Ethics and Compliance Department.
  • Complies with departments and corporate polices as well as performance standards for this position.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct




  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Prefer 5+ years of compliance and/or corporate office in administrative capacity
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Strict compliance with required confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use judgment, tact, and discretion.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate oral and written data, to analyze facts and draw logical conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent telephone, writing, and proofreading skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong technology and computer skills including Power Point, word processing and spreadsheet software, e-mail and database software programsStrong initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion with regard to reporting functions.
  • Strong analytical ability.
