Position Summary

 

 

Maintains and supervises the Package Billing function; assists the department head in various financial reporting analyses.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

 

  • Supervises a team in the Package Billing area.
  • Performs regular reviews of procedures and controls utilized within the department to ensure accurate billing.
  • Creates, designs and initiates plans to collect outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Develops analytical reviews and audits to verify reasonableness and integrity of accounting data.
  • Assists department head with financial reporting analyses.
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts.
  • Assists with interviewing and selecting new employees.
  • Trains new team members.
  • Evaluates employee performance.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance or like discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous experience in accounting; experience in a coprorate accounting or billing enviornment is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Effective organization and planning skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient Microsoft user of Excel and Word,

  • Good Analytical Skills

  • Excellent Teamwork and the ability to lead projects.
